The events gave secondary school students a taste of college life and helped students of all ages to become ‘college ready’ by raising awareness of the benefits of going to college. There was an hourly talk/workshop on how to become college ready (including presentations on college life), an expo area, and a chance to explore the campus. Students attended workshops on sport, electronics, sport and creative as well as presentations on college life at WIT, student supports, new courses for 2018, routes of entry and clubs and societies. They also got an overview of WIT’s new common and broad entry courses for 2018.
